MAT for Alcohol & Substance Use Disorders

Emergence Health Network now offers its Medication Assisted Treatment program for alcohol and other substance use disorders (MAT-AUD).  Adults aged 18-years and older who satisfy the federal poverty level (FPL) criteria and do not have health insurance may qualify for the treatment program.

Those who are interested will be evaluated for eligibility into the MAT-AUD program via OSAR. The OSAR (Outreach, Screening, Assessment and Referral) program is managed by Emergence Health Network and funded by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). The program offers free screening and community referral services to Texas residents who require assistance with a substance use disorder.

The program includes medication administration, comprehensive assessment, medical monitoring, individualized treatment plans and group therapy.
