The 89th Texas Legislative Session is set to begin January 2025, and although months away Emergence Health Network is already hard at work, establishing its priorities and preparing for the session. For 140 days, the Texas Legislature is tasked with funding, overseeing, and implementing new policy that will affect everyday Texans. Emergence Health Network monitors and advocates for legislative efforts that impact those with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
