Emergence Health Network, together with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Texas Health and Human Services launches a free COVID-19 Mental Health Support Hotline.
The goal of the Crisis Counseling Program and Texas Recovering Together Initiative is to connect El Paso residents and those in the Midland/Odessa region with our EHN mental health professionals who can provide support to individuals feeling overwhelmed and stressed due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the impact it’s having on our daily lives. It’s not uncommon to experience concerns and feelings of anxiety, depression, and even anger during these uncertain times. The support hotline is a valuable resource that can provide easy access to services. It’s free and confidential.
Through the FEMA Crisis Counseling Program and Texas Recovering Together initiative, EHN will operate the COVID-19 Mental Health Support Hotline for residents in the El Paso and the Midland/Odessa area. EHN’s counselors are trained in trauma-informed support and can recognize a person’s emotional health can be affected by disasters, such as the Coronavirus pandemic. Now help is just a phone call away.
